Project 1
Curaleaf is a leading medical and wellness cannabis operator with cultivation and processing facilities and dispensaries. Curaleaf engaged Cannatech to upgrade their mechanical and controls systems in their Greater Boston area facility. Cannatech performed the mechanical installations for cultivation spaces (mother, clone, veg. bloom and process). The work included mechanical unit installs, DX piping, ductwork, controls design and installation and the complete commissioning of the site.

The upgrade allowed Curaleaf to significantly enhance the environmental control of the space (cooling and humidity) and enhance the efficiency and control of the operations. This resulted in an overall increase in yield for the cultivation space.

Project 2
Cannatech was engaged by Curaleaf to support the completion and close out of the Phase 2 construction of this large indoor cultivation facility. Cannatech performed as the construction manager for the HVAC and controls integration project for Curaleaf’s facility.

Cannatech’s focus was on the completion and commissioning of the MEP systems, specifically the water-cooled DX cooling systems along with the integration of the building automation system (BAS)/controls. The BAS system included lighting controls integration with cooling, dehumidification, watering, fertigation measurement and control systems.
